Division & Eligibility Guidelines
- Players must be registered in the appropriate grade-based division
- Proof of age or grade may be required
- Playing up is permitted only with league approval
- Playing down is not permitted
- Players may only be rostered on one team
Defensive Progression Philosophy
VIP Hoopz uses a developmental defensive progression to teach proper basketball fundamentals:
- Younger divisions focus on man-to-man defense to build positioning, footwork, and accountability
- Mid-level divisions introduce limited press situations
- Older divisions allow all legal defensive strategies to prepare players for higher levels of competition
This structure ensures players are challenged appropriately while continuing to grow their basketball IQ.
